We moved a year and a half ago, and there were some spaces we just hadn’t figured out yet. “Stuff management” is difficult for me and creating systems often takes a massive amount of time and energy for me. These lovely ladies were so helpful. It’s a vulnerable thing to let someone peer into your mess. They are gracious, helpful, and when it was all said and done, I felt motivated and empowered to keep going! (And since their follow up email detailed all the things we talked about, I had something to work off of).

These ladies came in with quick action, inventoried our entire building (down to the paper clips…no joke), tagged by number every. single. item, priced, listed, called people, made a facebook group and posts, sold items, sorted what was left for proper donation for our tax benefit, and kept me going when I was exhausted. They smiled, hugged friends, helped carry items to cars, and hosted the most incredible sale for ASN to help us close shop…there is no way I could have done this alone.

"Maria and Robin did an excellent job of organizing and creating a system for my closet. I was overwhelmed by the amount of things I’d stuffed in that tiny room over the years. Their non-judgmental attitudes toward my pile of stuff (and the emotional attachment I had TO my stuff) were very helpful in allowing me the space to choose whether to keep, toss, or donate the items that were no longer serving me. They knew just the right questions to ask to assess my needs and worked efficiently. It felt like years' worth of piles got dispatched within the span of a couple of hours. They even texted me links to the kind of storage containers I could buy to fit the top shelf of my closet, as well as a list of things I could do to maintain and implement their changes. I felt so cared for, listened to, and seen. They did not push me to get rid of things I wasn’t ready to part with but respected my needs while creatively coming up with storage solutions. I absolutely recommend their services and plan to use them again in the future!"

"Incredibly thankful for @maryahripley from @homemattersorganization spending a few hours with me today to get our master bedroom closets purged and organized... After our bathroom flooded in September, we were forced to remove as much stuff as we could before we got new carpet in there. An unexpected blessing from the flooding debacle is having this reset purging what needs to be thrown out, donating just as much if not more to great causes like Hangers of Hope, & having a more organized and cleaner space.
This is an incredibly humbling experience but I’m so glad to have had Maria there to help establish a more orderly space with purpose and intentionality. She never made me feel bad about how crazy it had gotten and asked good questions to help me think through the logistics of everything. ”I have had Home Matters in my home on four different occasions. I gave them a call because my home was so cluttered. Maria and Robin came in and immediately went to work on the hallway off my kitchen, which was very disorganized—before they came, I could barely walk through it! Next, they worked on my kitchen, then in my bedroom, and finally in my home office. The transformation has been amazing. Now I can get clothes out of the drawers in my closet, and I know exactly where everything is. My kitchen is very well organized so that now when I’m making quick dinners, etc., I know exactly where to go to get the things that I need.
